Job summary

A luxury elderly care home provider in Bagshot is looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie to enhance their award-winning culinary team. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef by preparing high-quality nutritional meals and managing stock control. Qualifications

They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Chef de Partie to join their award-winning team at Bagshot Gardens Care Home in Surrey.

Main duties of the job

As a Chef de Partie, your focus will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the residents. This will involve preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis.

Job responsibilities

Your focus as Chef de Partie will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive and high-quality culinary service, which contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Taking part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree catering functions across the home, and to address special needs or dietary requirements of residents.
  • Preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste and ensure these are in place.
  • Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis.
