Job description

Overview

Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced chefs to work with our clients around Birmingham and Black Country area. Working mainly in contract catering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of the kitchen team
• Cook for up to 400 at a time
• Cook from fresh following a set menu rota
• Stock management and ordering
• Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure highest quality
• Keeping detailed records of wastage, temperature checks, stock levels
• Maintaining high standards of food and kitchen hygiene at all times.

• Food hygiene level 2 or above
• Food allergens
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of current food safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self motivated
• Enhanced adult & child DBS dated within the last 12 months or registered on the update service
