Temporary Chef Cover Shifts

Location: SW1P
Contract Type: Temporary.
Working Pattern: Full Time. 2 Days to start Thursday 30th and Friday 31st of October with further cover

Are you a skilled Chef with a passion for delivering high-quality meals. Our client, a charitable organisation dedicated to serving the community, is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals from the daily menu, ensuring they meet the high standards our organisation is known for.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively report when supplies are running low to maintain uninterrupted kitchen operations.
  • Carry out general kitchen duties, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
  • Follow food hygiene standards rigorously and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all staff and patrons.
  • Be vigilant about food allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring meals are prepared safely and appropriately for all guests.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene certificate (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of food allergies and dietary requirements to cater to diverse needs.
  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen, demonstrating your culinary skills and ability to handle kitchen demands.
  • Must have your own chef whites to maintain professionalism in the kitchen.
  • Availability to start immediately is crucial.
