Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a dedicated Chef/Cook (Zero Hours) on a permanent casual basis. You will prepare delicious food, help with menu changes, and support improvements across food services. A strong focus on hygiene and customer service is essential, with opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Have a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar chef role.
• Flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Chef/Cook (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in CH&CO on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.
