The Role

As Sous Chef...

• The role will involve supporting the Chef as well as kitchen assistant duties to cook for 70+ residents daily.
• To supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager
• To prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users
• To assist the Chef Manager in the planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.
• To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Chef Manager
• To comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.
