Job summary

Mayford Grange Retirement Village is seeking a Chef on a bank basis to cover sickness and holidays. You will join the culinary team to support all kitchen operations and deliver meals to residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, supervising the kitchen when Head Chef days off, contributing to menus, managing stock and costs, and upholding food safety standards. Shifts include some evenings and weekends; benefits include Medicash, pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, birthday

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for seniors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

As a Chef, you will play a key role in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
