Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a Chef Assistant for VIP lounges at Heathrow Airport in Hounslow. The role involves general cooking duties for customers in the lounges, with strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.

Shifts are Early (04:30 AM - 01:00 PM) or Late (12:30 PM - 10:30 PM) with flexibility essential. Applicants should have previous chef experience, smart appearance, and be able to start at 04:00. A trial shift may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a chef role or similar position.
• Very smart appearance and professional presentation.
• UK right to work and ability to provide latest five years history.
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal check and pass interview/trial processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide top level cooking service to customers in the lounge.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support stock control and keep cleanliness and organisation.
• Follow directions from senior chefs and contribute to kitchen success.

This role mainly consists of general cooking duties for customers in the VIP lounges at Heathrow in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines.

Shift Times: Early (4:30 AM - 1:00 PM) and Late (12:30 PM - 10:30 PM) - flexibility for both is essential

The Candidate:

• Previous experience is a similar role is a must
• Very smart appearance
• Be able to provide your last 5 years history
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
• Hard working
• Keen and have a \"can do attitude\"
• Reliable
• UK right to work
• Proof of National Insurance
• Be able to get to Heathrow Airport for 04:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top level cooking service to all customers within the lounge
• Work closely with fellow Kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen
• Support stock control and maintain cleanliness and organisation
• Follow direction from senior chefs and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Chef role or similar position
• Excellent Customer facing skills and teamwork skills
• Flexibility with shift patterns
• Ability to present for an in-person interview
• Candidates may complete a trial shift
• Very smart dress code would be required for this position.
