Job summary

Berkeley Scott Recruitment is actively recruiting Education Chefs to work in schools across Walton-on-Thames. These term-time roles offer weekday work with potential for long-term or permanent placements in school kitchens.

Roles involve preparing nutritious meals, planning menus, ensuring food safety, managing stock, and supervising kitchen staff. DBS and Level 2 Food Safety are required; sponsorship is not available for UK work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as senior Chef in a school or similar environment.
• Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for these roles.
• Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willing to obtain is essential.
• Strong, reliable, and excellent communication skills are essential.
• A passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people.
• Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens, as well as additional compliance training, is essential and will be provided free of charge for all applicants.
