The Marbrook Centre in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a passionate Chef to join our friendly catering team, cooking nutritious meals for residents and supporting a high standard of care. You will work with the Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and ensure meals meet individual dietary needs.
With previous professional kitchen experience, you will help supervise staff, manage stock, and ensure all food safety and hygiene requirements are met.
£14.75 per hour
35-40 hours per week includes alternate weekends

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Chef to join our friendly catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your culinary skills to create fresh, nutritious and appetising meals that our residents will enjoy, while working in an environment where quality, care and individual choice are at the heart of everything we do.
With previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, your duties will include preparing, cooking and presenting appetising, balanced and varied nutritious meals, whilst ensuring the kitchen is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene and remains a safe environment at all times.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop and deliver seasonal menus that provide variety and choice and are accessible to all residents, taking into consideration individual dietary requirements, preferences and nutritional needs.
Previous care home or healthcare catering experience would be an advantage, as would knowledge of IDDSI and modified-texture diets. However, we are also keen to hear from experienced chefs looking to bring their skills into a rewarding care environment.
Most importantly, you will take pride in your cooking, be passionate about providing high-quality food and understand the important role that mealtimes play in our residents' wellbeing and quality of life.
