Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, via its Medirest Healthcare arm, is recruiting an ambitious Part-time Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare clients. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals that brighten our clients’ and customers’ days.

The role is 22.5 hours per week with variable shifts and a focus on hygiene, menu development, and listening to customer feedback to continuously improve our food services.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in preparing high-quality meals.
• Ability to respond to customer feedback and adjust service accordingly.
• Experience supervising a small team in a kitchen setting.

Job description

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare on a part time basis contracted to 22.5 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

Our ideal Chef will:

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working
