Job description

Experienced Chef required Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week, working early or late shifts, between 6.30am to 5pm.

Working in one of Dorset Healthcare Mental Health Hospitals, delivering outstanding care and food, we are looking for a team player to support our food service at St Anns Hospital and Alumhurst Road sites. A full clean driving licence is required.

We are seeking applications from qualified, experienced chefs who can demonstrate practical experience and knowledge of allergens and nutritional content, with experience working in a busy production kitchen.

This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week. The post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Within the rota, you will need to demonstrate supervisory experience, confidence, and the ability to deputise for the Senior Chef as required.

Responsibilities include providing a high standard of catering services to patients, staff, and visitors, and leading a team of catering staff.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
