Job summary

Oakland Care Ltd in Maidstone is seeking a committed Chef to support the Head kitchen and deliver meals of the highest standard for residents. You will work with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure nutritious, well‑presented dishes while contributing to personal development within a supportive environment.

The role requires at least two years’ catering experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of food regulations and textured/therapeutic diets.

Qualifications

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £15.14 per hour

Contract: Full-time

As a Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef and our fantastic kitchen team, you’ll help deliver dishes of the highest standard while ensuring every resident receives an exceptional dining experience. What you need to succeed:

• Knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets (advantageous).
• Proven experience delivering a high‑quality catering service.
• Ability to follow a structured menu while bringing creativity to your dishes.
