A progressive education service provider in Liverpool is seeking a Chef to manage food production and service during term time. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of food hygiene regulations and have relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring an appealing dining experience for students. Line Manager: Catering Manager / Finance and Facilities Manager
The post holder is required to support and encourage the school's Christian ethos and its objectives, policies and procedures as detailed in the current Staff Handbook and Policy File. This also includes commitment to policies integral to the ethos of the school.
The Chef will be responsible for food production, assisting with administration and the service of breaks and lunch as well as stepping up in the absence of the Catering Manager.
Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to uphold standards of best practice.
