Job summary

British Garden Centres in Leyland is seeking a skilled Chef to prepare delicious meals for our carvery, following the menu and ensuring timely service to customers. You will work in a busy kitchen, handling multiple dishes while maintaining quality and flavour.

We offer a family-run environment with regular hours, 24 hours per week including weekends, and benefits such as meal discounts. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a growing, community-focused business.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow menu instructions and recipes accurately.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and carvery service.
• Prepare dishes for service and ensure timely delivery to customers.

We are looking for a skilled Chef to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. Preparing and serving on the carvery.

An excellent Chef must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Flexible with weekends and able to do over time.

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.
