Qualifications

• NVQ level 2/3 or relevant experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Basic IT skills are necessary.
• Experience in producing menus and confident inputting.
• Exposure to bulk cooking is preferred.
• A strong enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the running service and preparation duties in the kitchen.
• Ensure adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems.
• Work with the FOH team to maintain service excellence.
• Monitor sanitation practices to comply with standards.
• Prepare and present food to the highest standards.

As a Chef at Sodexo at Officers Mess, RAF High Wycombe, Naphil, HP14 4UE, you're ambitious about culinary excellence.. and we understand the true strength it takes to be a chef! You'll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day!

Role details

• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 out of 7 per week
• Early - 06:00 - 14:00
• Middle - 11:30 - 19:30
• Late - 12:00 - 20:00
• Including some weekends - 07:00 - 19:00 plus Functions
• £13.69 per hour

What you’ll do

• Assistance with running service/preparation/other duties of the busy working kitchen
• Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
• Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellence
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard

What you bring

• NVQ lv 2/3 or a busy kitchen environment experience
