Busy Bees Nurseries in Gorebridge is seeking a Chef to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for young children and manage daily kitchen operations. You will ensure food safety, work with the team to support theBee Curious curriculum, and contribute to a nurturing early years environment.

The ideal candidate has a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) and experience in catering or kitchen operations, with a strong focus on empathy and child welfare.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees at Midlothian Newbyres, is a 154 place nursery and offers two settings located just across the road from one another; Newbyres Hall which welcomes children under 3 and St Paul's for all children 3-5 years old. Situated in the centre of Gorebridge village, our nursery is very convenient for families and our staff team who would like to make use of the excellent public transport links, including the new Borders Railway which is just a minute's walk away. There is also a public, free-of-charge car park to the rear of the nursery.
