You'll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. What you'll do
  • Full working knowledge of hospital areas covered by Patient Dining & Retail Services
  • Accountable for allergy management and food preparation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Maintain and deliver quality meals following set recipes and menus
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety legislation
  • Promote understanding and delivery of health and safety standards across the site
  • Manage health and safety in line with legislation, company, and client standards
  • Report all non‑compliance issues to management
  • Ensure all mandatory staff training is completed and training plans are followed
  • Job description may be updated as service needs change
What you bring
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience as a chef
