The Perch in Princes Park is seeking a chef to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll work across grill, salad, takeaway, and our outdoor pizza oven in a modern, all-electric kitchen.

We’re looking for someone with busy kitchen experience, a food hygiene certificate, and a calm, detail-focused approach who loves cooking and working as part of a team.

The Perch is a lively, independent café-restaurant by the water in Princes Park, serving all day brunch, outdoor pizzas, and award winning Sunday lunch.

We’re looking for a chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You’ll work across grill, salad, takeaway, and even our outdoor pizza oven — in a modern, all-electric, well-organised kitchen.

What you’ll do:

• Cook and present food to spec
• Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organised
• Support with stock, hygiene, and training
• Help deliver both plated and takeaway dishes
