Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd is seeking a Chef to join our care sector team. The role focuses on menu planning with seasonal ingredients, crafting restaurant-standard dishes, and maintaining balance between creativity and cost.

You will develop recipes that fit our kitchen capabilities and oversee food presentation, quality, and waste reduction while accounting for budget constraints. Experience in care settings is welcome but not essential.

Formación

• Proven experience as Chef.
• Holder of a food hygiene certificate or equivalent.
• Financial acumen – you know your numbers as well as your favourite recipe.

• Menu planning and seasonality: Create menus with seasonal ingredients, balancing freshness and residents' delight while controlling costs.
• Recipe development: Design crave-worthy, brand-aligned dishes that fit kitchen capabilities and equipment.
• Food management: Oversee preparation, presentation, and taste; manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise flavour.
• Budget mastery: Understand food and labour costs and work within pricing strategies.

• Design recipes that fit within our kitchen’s capabilities and equipment.

Food Management:

• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and taste. Our guests deserve nothing less than perfection.
• Manage inventory efficiently to minimise waste and maximise flavour.

Budget Mastery:

• Understand food and labour costs and work within a pricing strategy.
• Craft menus that not only tantalize taste buds but also keep our business thriving.

Who will you be?
