Job summary

Dale Farm is seeking Production Operatives for its Ash Manor site to support the Grating and Packing operation. You will contribute to safe, efficient production of high-quality grated cheese in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on work, good attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team and independently. Rotating shifts operate Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon slots, offering opportunities for skill development within a leading food manufacturer.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and also independently.
• Basic IT skills.
• 6 months FMCG manufacturing experience
• 6 months experience in Packing and/or High Care.

Responsibilities

• Produce and pack quality products to company standards.
• Carry out quality checks and identify product defects.
• Operate machinery safely per SOPs and risk assessments.
• Monitor and adjust production lines to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Complete production records accurately and in line with requirements.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
