A prominent health organization in Wales is seeking a motivated individual to join their Continuing Health Care Team in Bangor. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support, ensure efficient communication both internally and externally, and handle confidential information professionally. Candidates who can communicate in Welsh are encouraged to apply, but English speakers are equally welcome. This role is integral to facilitating service delivery in line with statutory responsibilities.
The Continuing Health Care Team Central area Team based in Parc Menai, Bangor are looking for an experience individual to join our busy and dynamic team.
You will need to be highly motivated and enjoy co-ordinating and communicating with a wide range of people.
You should be highly organised, confident to work alone or as part of team; have excellent interpersonal and computer skills
To assist the CHC Team Administrator in all aspect of administration relating to NHS Continuing Health Care (CHC), Funding Registered Nursing Care (FNC) discharge from hospital and delayed transfers of care and any schemes associated with CHC/CHC bids.
The provision of a high level of confidential, comprehensive and efficient range of administrative services to support the CHC Team to facilitate service delivery accurately and in a timely manner to fulfil their statutory and managerial responsibilities across the Division.
Act as first point of contact for all referrals/enquiries to the CHC TeamEnsure that all communications with members of the public, staff and anyother agency are handled confidentially and professionally, in order to aid the delivery of a high quality service.
Demonstrate excellent and advanced communication skills on confidentialissues such as disputes or complaints when dealing with telephonecalls/correspondence from members of the public, Solicitors and MP's, Health Professionals, Senior Managers both within the NHS, Local Authorities and non NHS organizations and in the absence of CHC Managers/Matron refer to appropriate person/department.
Take telephone messages in the absence of the CHC Team and if necessarysignpost the caller to the correct person who can help with their query.Monitor and ensure correct panel outcomes, information is passed to finance department via liaising with nursing homes/monthly returns regarding any change in funding/accommodation etc (Deceased, New Patients, amendments).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
