Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer in Birmingham with UK site experience to manage structural analysis and design development across diverse projects. The role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, and a pathway to Chartered status, with sponsorship opportunities and a company bonus.

You will work on a variety of schemes, deliver calculations, drawings and reports, and engage with clients and internal teams to drive projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• UK-based structural engineer with site experience.
• Experience delivering structural analysis and calculations.
• Ability to develop designs and drawings using CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and calculations.
• Develop designs and drawings in AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit.
• Prepare technical documents and reports.
• Occasional site visits / client meetings.
• Work 37.5 hours per week with hybrid arrangement.
