Job summary

Bradley Hall | South East is seeking experienced Chartered Surveyors/Associates to join our Valuation Department in our brand-new South Yorkshire office. You will conduct property inspections, gather evidence, and produce RICS-compliant valuation reports for a diverse client base across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Reporting to the Head of Office, you will support Landlord & Tenant matters, including Rent Reviews and Lease Renewal negotiations, while helping develop our presence in the region

Qualifications

• Experience in a valuation role within a chartered surveying firm.
• Must hold Registered Valuer status.
• RICS Chartered status or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the property market and regional trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional valuation services for varied property types (retail, office, industrial, residential).
• Prepare comprehensive written valuation reports in line with RICS standards.
• Support Landlord & Tenant matters, including Rent Reviews and Lease Renewal negotiations.

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting property inspections, undertaking due diligence, gathering comparable evidence, and producing RICS-compliant valuation reports. Additionally, you will support Landlord & Tenant matters, including Rent Reviews and Lease Renewal negotiations for both existing and new clients.

Reporting to the Head of Office, the successful candidate will:

• Provide professional valuation services for a wide range of property types, including retail, office, industrial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with RICS standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, offering high-level advisory services and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely valuation reports.
• Prepare comprehensive written valuation reports, ensuring all relevant factors are considered and addressed.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and support the development of new client relationships within the South Yorkshire region.
• Conduct detailed market research to remain up to date with local market trends across Sheffield, Doncaster, and Rotherham.
• Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to provide integrated service offerings.
• Support and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with RICS regulations, legislation, and best practice standards.

Experience Required

• Experience in a valuation role, preferably within a chartered surveying firm
• Must hold Registered Valuer status
• Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial property valuations
• RICS qualified Chartered status or equivalent professional body
• Strong understanding of the property market, including regional trends
• Ability to produce detailed and high-quality valuation reports
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the South Yorkshire region
