Qualifications

  • Strong rural background and practical agricultural insight required.
  • Level 3 Valuation is desirable.
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compensation claims.
  • Provide Environmental Stewardship support.
  • Assist with grant and funding applications.
  • Oversee contract farming arrangements.
  • Engage in rural planning and diversification projects.
  • Handle sales and lettings of farms and rural homes.
  • Draft FBTs and grazing licenses.
  • Conduct valuations for various purposes.

Working hours:
  • As a Chartered Rural Surveyor, you’ll be required to work Full-time.
  • This is an office-based role in North Norfolk, with travel around Norfolk when required for appointments.

Key tasks for theChartered Rural Surveyorrole will include, BUT will not be limited to:
  • Compensation claims
  • Environmental Stewardship support
  • Grant and funding applications
  • Contract farming arrangements
  • Rural planning and diversification projects
  • Sales and lettings of farms, land, smallholdings, and rural homes
  • Drafting FBTs, grazing licences and similar agreements
  • Valuations for lending, taxation, estate planning, and dispute resolution
