A private financial company is seeking a Chartered Paraplanner to provide comprehensive administrative and technical assistance. The role involves preparing documentation, conducting research for financial solutions, and ensuring compliance. Candidates should have at least two years of Paraplanning experience, knowledge of pensions and investments, and excellent communication skills. As a Chartered Paraplanner, you will be providing comprehensive administrative and technical assistance. Your responsibilities will include preparing client meeting documentation, suitability reports, and application forms, ensuring that all advice is delivered and processed with the utmost accuracy and compliance. You will conduct detailed research to identify the most appropriate financial solutions from our Centralised Investment Proposition or other market alternatives, aligning them with each client's financial needs and objectives.
You will also be responsible for drafting suitability letters, completing and submitting applications, and ensuring all compliance procedures are strictly followed. To excel in this role, you will continuously develop your product, technical, and regulatory knowledge, staying current with the latest financial regulations. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will be vital in ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients.
This role is suitable for all candidates nationally as we offer hybrid working, with an expectation to be attend an office on a monthly basis. We have offices in Cheltenham, London, Cardiff, Liverpool, Fareham, Harrogate, Darlington, Newbury and Grangemouth.
You are a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Paraplanner with a solid foundation in financial planning, backed by at least two years of experience in the field. Having a comprehensive understanding of pensions, investments, and estate planning you are able to research and analyse effectively clients financial positions, making informed recommendations that align with their priorities and the advice provided by Financial Planners. You are qualified or close to Chartered Financial Planner with the CII.
Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to produce clear and comprehensive reports while also supporting effective client interactions. You are well-versed in compliance processes, ensuring that all regulatory obligations are met and that records are meticulously maintained in the CRM system. You take ownership of cases from start to finish, ensuring all applications are processed promptly and in line with client and provider expectations.
