Key Responsibilities

A Day in the Life

About the Team
You’ll work in one of our operational sites – the heart of Amazon’s customer experience – leading and developing teams in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment. Our operations include everything from fulfilment centres and delivery stations to corporate support teams. Each site provides unique opportunities to learn, lead, and deliver results. While you’ll be placed within a specific site, you’ll collaborate with leaders across Amazon’s network to share ideas and best practices.
Successful apprentices may progress into management roles across our operations network or other business functions, continuing to grow their leadership and business expertise within Amazon. This position is a 42‑month fixed‑term contract. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.
Qualifications
- Emerging leaders who are passionate about people, eager to learn, and ready to grow.
- Not required to have prior management experience – just the potential to lead, collaborate, and take initiative.
- Be a UK national, a non‑UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK.
- Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship.
- Have the right to live and work in England for the entire duration of the programme until March 2030.
- Be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
- Not be registered on another UK government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later.
- Be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026).
- Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English.
- Have 3 A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role (beneficial but not essential).
- Strong communication skills – able to express ideas clearly and motivate others.
- Organisation and time management – capable of prioritising and balancing multiple responsibilities.
- Analytical thinking – comfortable using data to make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail – able to follow processes accurately and identify improvement opportunities.
- Adaptability – thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
