Qualifications

  • Chartered Surveyor with specialism in building conservation.
  • Experience working with listed buildings and heritage assets.
  • Knowledge of traditional building materials and conservation philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to restore historic properties damaged by insured perils.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare technical reports, manage projects, and interact with clients.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Extensive knowledge of building construction and relevant legislation
Chartered status (or working towards this qualification)
Ability to empathize with clients
Sound judgment under pressure

Education

Chartered status (MRICS or MCIOB preferred)
