Job summary

FindCore are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor for a permanent role in London with hybrid working. You will deliver professional building surveying services, undertake surveys and reports, and manage refurbishment and reinstatement projects. A strong knowledge of CDM and health & safety is essential.

25 days leave, negotiable salary, performance-related bonus, professional development support and additional benefits are offered as part of a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• Chartered Surveyor with membership of RICS
• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
• Experience delivering professional building surveying services across projects
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, pathology and PPM programmes
• Experience managing refurbishment projects and administering JCT/SBCC contracts
• Strong reporting, organization and client-management skills
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and health & safety legislation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD software; full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services.
• Undertake PPM surveys, condition surveys, technical due diligence and building pathology investigations.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, technical reports and Reinstatement Cost Assessments.
• Manage maintenance, repair, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects.
• Act as Contract Administrator under JCT and SBCC forms of contract.
• Prepare Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations.
• Provide clear technical advice and maintain client relationships.
• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
