Job summary

Derian House Children's Hospice is looking for fundraisers to engage with the public and secure monthly Direct Debit donations. You would be employed by The Fundraising Partnership, working in major retail stores or door-to-door, and you will be rewarded for achieving targets.

Full training and ongoing support are provided. Mileage is paid, and there is a guaranteed hourly rate with potential commission. Flexible hours and 18–30 hours per week are available.

• Interpersonal skills and ability to listen well.
• Ability to communicate clearly with members of the public.

Responsibilities

• Engage the public to support the charity with regular donations.
• Represent the charity in stores or at doors-to-door venues.
• Explain the charity's needs and sign up monthly Direct Debit donors.
