Job summary

Easy Recruitment Group seeks a senior finance professional in London to lead all aspects of a charity’s financial management. You will head statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and drive governance and internal controls at board level.

Reporting to the COO/Executive, you will manage the finance team, oversee management and statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning for fundraising activities.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA preferred; CIMA/ACCA acceptable with substantial relevant experience.
• SORP and charity accounting requirements.
• Experience with finance management in a charity.
• Experience in fundraising charity financials.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Knowledge of financial procedures and processes.
• Experience developing and analysing management accounts.

Responsibilities

• Governance and compliance: ensure statutory/regulatory returns are timely and procedures kept up to date.
• Audit: lead year-end financial statements and Trustees Annual Report with the audit process.
• Financial accounting: prepare board reports and manage the accounts team for timely management accounts.
• Management accounting: deliver monthly management accounts with insightful commentary for leadership.
• Strategy: contribute to the charity's strategic direction with COO/CEO and advisors.
• Other: liaise with external advisors and Trustees; fulfil duties in a small/mid-sized charity.
