Job summary

Wight Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our Mental Health unit. You will work within a close-knit team, lead clinical care, and drive high standards of practice in line with Trust values.

You should be an RMN or RNLD with post-qualification experience at Band 5 in Mental Health, demonstrating leadership, effective communication, and commitment to CPD. You will help service users understand and manage their mental health, promoting safe reintegration into the community.

Southfield provides specialist care and treatment for people with serious mental illness in a secure environment who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Service users are aged between 18 -- 65 years old, male and female, and may have either committed a criminal offence, or have challenging behaviour. The main purpose of the unit is to assist Service Users to understand and manage their own mental health, so that where possible, they can be reintegrated back into the community.
