A healthcare provider in Chelmsford is looking for a committed Registered Nurse to support the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality care for older patients. This role involves leading shifts, working with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining excellent clinical standards. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and a willingness to support junior staff. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, creating a supportive work environment.
We're seeking a dynamic, innovative, and committed individual with the passion and drive to help deliver high-quality, person-centred care for our older patients. You'll play a key role in supporting the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward, ensuring excellent standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and team development are maintained.
In this role you will be working to support the Ward Manager in providing clinical, professional and managerial leadership to the medical ward.
You will be expected to work with our extensive multidisciplinary team whilst supporting patients and their relatives through their journey from admission to discharge, providing them with the highest quality healthcare and patient experience.
The role will be challenging but rewarding and is supported by a Matron and Assistant Director of Nursing and of course the Senior Ward Charge Nurse.
You will be a Registered Nurse with proven experience leading shifts on a busy medical ward and a demonstrable commitment to your own professional growth. You'll be confident in your clinical abilities, an effective communicator, and a positive role model for junior staff.
While previous experience in elderly care or medicine is desirable, it's not essential -- we'll provide full training and support for the right candidate. Most importantly, you'll bring enthusiasm, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of our patients.
If you're ready to take on a rewarding leadership role within a supportive and friendly team, we'd love to hear from you.
Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust.
