This perinatal mental health service offers specialist training and development opportunities and a supportive MDT to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
The successful candidate will mentor staff, manage the ward on shift, and contribute to bed management and patient flow.

Job summary We are delighted to be offering an exciting opportunity for a Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team on Clover Ward, Mother and Baby Unit at Melbury Lodge.
Perinatal Mental Health is a very rewarding area to work, where outcomes can benefit the whole family and next generations! The service offers great training and development opportunities we have from specialist Perinatal training courses across the country as well as psychological interventions training, which is pivotal to our therapeutic approach to care on the ward.
We are looking to appoint nurses who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and resourceful individuals who are committed to providing high quality innovative care. You will be joining a passionate and dynamic MDT, where everyone's voice matters and the team work collaboratively to support and empower our patient in their recovery.
Melbury Lodge is located close to the Solent Coast and the beautiful New Forest National Park and have excellent transportation links, either by rail (direct to Waterloo) and by road (M3/M27). Please note this a part time role for 30 hours per week

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
