Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse for the Barnet Lane CCRS in Borehamwood. You will lead a nursing team, oversee clinical services, and ensure high-quality care in a complex inpatient setting.

With a relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration, you will delegate tasks, monitor patient conditions, and liaise with other healthcare professionals to maintain safe, person-centred care. A track record of leadership is essential.

What you will be doing

With experience from the NHS or private care, you will support the team in providing high-quality care and support to people within this complex care setting, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

As a Charge Nurse, you’ll lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivering of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit is performing well. You'll also;

• Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
  
• Monitor service users’ conditions and respond to changes
  
• Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
  
• Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
• Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration

Barnet Lane’s Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS) is a highly specialised, bespoke inpatient adult service designed to support individuals whose needs exceed the scope of traditional inpatient service models. The service specialises in treating patients who have experienced multiple or prolonged admissions, stalled discharge pathways, or who have been unable to progress within conventional care environments.
