Job summary

Christ the King Catholic High School in Southport is seeking a Chaplain (Lay or Ordained) to join our vibrant Catholic school community. The role is to begin as soon as possible and will support pupils and staff in faith development, helping to deepen the school's Catholic life across activities and chaplaincy duties.

This is a permanent, full-time appointment on Grade G – SCP 20-25, with the opportunity to contribute to spiritual life and pastoral care within our Outstanding school.

Responsibilities

• Support the school community in faith development and spiritual life for pupils and staff.
• Collaborate with the Headteacher and RE department to promote faith formation across the school.
• Provide pastoral support and contribute to chaplaincy duties as required.
