An opportunity has arisen for a Chapel & Crematorium Attendant to join our small but busy team to provide a dignified cremation and chapel service.

The successful candidate will hold a full current driving licence, be flexible, motivated and possess excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing the highest level of service to the bereaved. This post will require some weekend working.

You will be responsible for the operation of the cremators and working at front of house in the Chapel dealing directly with the public and Funeral Directors. There is also a requirement to assist in grounds maintenance and general office duties.

It would be desirable if you already hold the Cremator Technician Certificate of Proficiency (CTTS) and have previous experience of working within this environment, however if not, full training will be given.

It is essential the post holder can work both indoor and outside and can carry out basic gardening tasks as some of the duties will be to assist in maintaining the site, meeting families and scattering of cremated remains.
