Job Summary

As a Channel Cortex Domain Consultant, you will bridge advanced technical domain expertise with strategic partner enablement across all key focus partners. You will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor for our Cortex portfolio—our Next-Gen AI-powered security operations platform—working with and through our partner ecosystem.

In this dual-impact role, you will focus on building deep partner capability, architecting Security Operations Center (SOC) transformation strategies, and delivering high-impact technical enablement. By empowering partners to effectively position, architect, and deliver Cortex solutions to end customers, you will drive partner success, technical validation win rates, and market expansion.

Your Impact
  • Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor for key focus partners.
  • Collaborate with channel sales peers to develop joint business plans and identify growth opportunities for partner-led Cortex expansion.
  • Plan, build, and deliver high-impact technical training, workshops, and webinars to ensure partner engineering and architecture teams become proficient in Cortex architectures, integration processes, and deployment best practices.
  • Establishing deep technical relationships and trust with partner engineering teams so they lead and recommend Palo Alto Networks’ solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, enablement materials, and architectural guidance to activate partner teams to independently win opportunities.
  • Act as a feedback conduit between key focus partners and internal teams (Product Management, Technical Marketing, R&D) to shape product roadmaps based on partner-reported field insights and market needs.
  • Keep partners updated on product roadmaps, emerging cybersecurity trends, and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner technical engagements, enablement milestones, and pipeline impact to report progress regularly.
Qualifications

Your Experience:

  • 6+ years of technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting experience within Security Operations, including SIEM, SOAR, and XDR/EDR solutions.
  • Channel Expertise: Proven track record working with National Partners, Systems Integrators, or Distributors, with a deep understanding of Channel Sales models and Partner Ecosystems.
  • Deep hands‑on and architectural knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, threat hunting, and incident response processes.
  • Technical proficiency in related cybersecurity domains (Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, SOC/Endpoint, or Cloud Security).
  • Hands‑on capability with product installations, configurations, solution architectures, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to train, mentor, and build technical expertise within partner organizations.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region for partner enablement, training sessions, and partner events.
