A leading construction company in London is seeking a Change Manager to lead project controls for the Sizewell C nuclear power project. This role involves managing change strategies and ensuring project delivery within set parameters. Ideal candidates should have over 12 years of experience in project controls, particularly on complex infrastructure projects, and familiarity with leading international contractors. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and numerous benefits.
Be part of this "once in a generation" project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable low‑carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke. We are more than just an alliance; we bring together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.
Sizewell C (SZC) is vital to the UK’s future energy strategy. As the second of the UK’s next‑generation nuclear power stations, SZC is both high‑profile and highly complex.
Its delivery will rely not only on innovative engineering and construction but also on the most vital leadership qualities among its senior leadership team. The role is to provide leadership to the project controls across the CWA to ensure the effective delivery of the entire Civils Programme of SZC while recognising and influencing the programme’s impacts on the more comprehensive project.
The Change Manager’s role is to implement strategy, manage, and maintain change within the agreed constraints on one or more sections of the project, including change for programme, design, time and cost. This post will ensure that control is in accordance with all safety, quality, time, and cost parameters to meet the project’s needs for change, ensure it is implemented and track the changes within the project.
The Change Manager reports directly into the Head of Project Controls, as part of the CWA‑wide PMO.
