Job description

RS Group is looking for an experienced Change Manager to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring that all changes across our global IT landscape are managed in a controlled, consistent, and well-governed manner. You'll be the central point of contact for all change activity, driving process compliance and minimising risk to business‑critical services.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and operate the Change Management process end-to-end.
  • Act as the primary point of contact within Service Operations for all change‑related activity.
  • Review and plan global product changes and system releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct and validate impact and risk assessments for proposed changes.
  • Plan and communicate service outages, maintenance windows, and change‑related activities to stakeholders.
  • Chair and lead weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with business stakeholders.
  • Manage and publish the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC).
  • Conduct post‑implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Track improvement actions, ensuring timely completion and sign‑off by service owners.
  • Support Release Management processes and attend Release Board and project release meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with third‑party support partners and internal resolver groups.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within Change Management.
  • Perform trend analysis to highlight improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to Problem Management activities related to major or recurring incidents.
  • Produce and present critical reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Attend monthly governance meetings with MSPs to review performance trends.
  • Manage and mentor the Change Analyst, fostering growth and capability.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in IT Operations or Service Support roles within a global or regional organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks and their practical application.
  • Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and driving service improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach.
Desirable Skills
  • ITIL Practitioner or ITIL v3 Expert certification.
  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise business systems and infrastructure environments.
