Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Change Manager to drive adoption and value realisation across organisational projects. The role focuses on developing structured change management plans, conducting impact assessments, and delivering targeted communications and training to stakeholders globally.

Job Title: Change Manager

Location - Telford or Coventry

Mission: As a Change Manager, you play a key role in facilitating organizational projects and initiatives by ensuring successful employee adoption and value realisation. You develop and implement strategies to maximize the adoption of change, support communication efforts, conduct thorough impact analyses, assist with training programs, and actively manage resistance to change. Your mission is to drive successful organizational transformations by focusing on the human aspect of change management, preparing, supporting, and equipping both our people and our customers to embrace and utilise changes in business processes, technology, job roles, and organisational structures. Your impact is measured by the successful adoption of changes and the achievement of project objectives through effective and well-executed change management practices.

What will you do:

  • Ensure organisational projects and initiatives achieve their intended outcomes by driving employee adoption and value realization
  • Develop and implement structured change management strategies and plans to maximise engagement, adoption, and sustained usage
  • Lead change impact assessments to identify affected stakeholders and define appropriate change interventions
  • Support the design, development, and delivery of targeted communications to stakeholders and impacted audiences, ensuring consistent and timely messaging
  • Support training activities by documenting requirements and contributing to the design and delivery of effective learning solutions
  • Identify, assess, and actively manage resistance to change, preparing mitigation tactics and risks management actions
  • Align change activities with project plans, organizational priorities, and strategic objectives
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of change interventions, continuously improving approaches to increase adoption and readiness
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision, seeking guidance as needed in complex or ambiguous situations
  • Provide professional guidance and coaching to colleagues and stakeholders on change management best practices

What will make you successful:

  • Proven experience in change management methodologies, with the ability to apply these effectively in a design and delivery context
  • Able to make decisions on priorities, change approach, and delivery, operating with a high degree of autonomy and confidently navigating ambiguity using experience and judgement
  • Strong prioritisation and planning capability, able to focus effort on activities that drive adoption and value realisation
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex change and tailor messaging to different audiences including executive stakeholders
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills, able to assess impacts, anticipate challenges, and shape pragmatic solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, able to build credibility and gain buy-in across a range of stakeholders
  • Versatility across change disciplines, with the ability to work effectively with specialist functions (e.g. Comms, CX) and flex into these areas as needed to support end-to-end delivery on less complex initiatives

Experience & Education

  • Required: Relevant Change Management qualification or equivalent experience e.g. CMI/APMG Practitioner level or above)
  • Desirable: Proven track record of operating successfully within a complex, highly collaborative global matrix organization
  • Nice to have: Domain expertise in Energy Management, Industrial Automation, Smart Grid Technologies, Building Automation, or Data Centres

For this UK based position, the expected pay range is GBP 83,200 - GBP 124,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United Kingdom. Our pay ranges are determined by the local market.
