Job summary

Babcock International Group is seeking a Change Manager at its Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth. This full-time role (35 hours) leads logistics transformation, embedding new ways of working and driving continuous improvement across warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations.

You will work with senior leaders and customer stakeholders to deliver sustainable change, analyze performance data, and coach teams through transformation while ensuring readiness and engagement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a management or leadership role.
• Proven experience leading change, transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

The role

As Change Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver sustainable change across warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for embedding new ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring people are engaged, supported, and equipped throughout the change journey.

You will:

• Lead and coordinate change management activities across key logistics transformation programmes.
• Develop and implement change plans that support strategic and operational objectives.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to build commitment and drive successful adoption.
• Analyse operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based in Plymouth.

Essential Experience Of The Logistics Capability Manager

• Extensive experience in a management or leadership role.
• Proven experience leading change, transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical business improvements.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office and digital literacy skills.

Desirable

• Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, or other operational environments.
• Formal change management qualification or training.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CILT, CMI, APM).
