Change is inevitable, but positive transformation requires a skilled guide. Are you adept at navigating teams through complex transitions and driving business results? We are seeking a dynamic Change Management Specialist to join our team in Peterborough for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be crucial in assisting with the implementation of complex organisational change initiatives, helping the organisation achieve greater performance.

Location: Peterborough

Contract: 12 months (could be extended further)

Pay Rate: Up to £26 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:45, Friday 08:30 - 16:15

Could be potential to travel within the UK, sometimes European travel. 10-15% maximum.

The role's responsibilities
  • Conducting needs analysis and impact assessments to determine the most effective approach for implementing change.

  • Providing consultation and recommendations to stakeholders to effectively manage organisational change.

  • Influencing and leading people to adopt the organisation's change initiatives to attain business results.

  • Carrying out organisational change programs and activities, ensuring the consistent and timely execution of change implementation plans.

The ideal candidate:

A strategic thinker and a natural collaborator with a desired background of a degree or equivalent experience. You possess the following skills:

  • Organisational Change Management: Knowledge of techniques to successfully effect change and the ability to manage a smooth transition from the current to the desired environment.
  • Data Gathering & Analysis: You have a basic understanding of data gathering tools and techniques and can collect and synthesize data from various stakeholders and sources.
  • Conflict Management: You possess a working knowledge of managing conflicts, using active listening and facilitating reconciliation to deal effectively with potential issues.
  • Dealing with Disorder: You can comfortably adapt in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. You can carry out tasks without complete information and shift gears as new information becomes available.
  • Influencing: You understand the key concepts of influencing and have the ability to impact decisions.
  • Relationship Management: You know how to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with peers and clients, providing prompt responses and working to resolve major problems.
  • Communicating for Impact: You have a working knowledge of effective listening and communicating, allowing you to adapt your message for different audiences and provide persuasive, well-reasoned arguments.
  • Planning and Organising: You are skilled in planning and arranging tasks, breaking them into manageable steps, and monitoring progress continuously.
