Job description
  • Ensure all changes are processed through the formal change lifecycle, from drafting to implementation
  • Monitor and update stakeholders on the status of changes to ensure timely completion and minimize disruption to operations
  • Raise issues when changes encounter obstacles or delays, working proactively to remove barriers and facilitate progress
  • Oversee the full change lifecycle for production‑related changes, ensuring that changes are properly documented, tracked, and completed within the agreed timelines
  • Manage change backlogs and ensure that all changes are appropriately prioritized and moved through the change process
  • Solid understanding of the change lifecycle process and ability to manage multiple changes simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, senior leadership, and technical teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, able to identify bottlenecks and proactively address challenges
Desirable:
  • Proficiency in Data Sense or similar tools for tracking and reporting metrics
  • Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill, Siemens, or similar platforms

The Change Management team:

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team made up of eight members based in the UK and Canada, with the Canadian presence actively growing. This role involves close coordination with both the Halifax‑based team in Canada and the UK team, all working together on the River Class Destroyer program within the Engineering PMO. You will be interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple countries, including project managers and PMO representatives both locally and internationally.
