Job summary

Ardal Homes is recruiting a Chair and two Independent Non-Executive Directors to guide a new independent Board for a growing development company with a strong social purpose in South-East Wales. We welcome both seasoned board members and first-time NEDs, with a commitment of about 1–2 days a month, and a focus on diversity of thought, fresh perspectives and lived experiences.

Expertise in development, regeneration, construction, partnerships, sales, finance or strategic leadership is welcomed,

Qualifications

• Experience or insight in development, regeneration, and construction.
• Commercial growth, partnerships, and investment experience.
• Sales and marketing expertise for growth and stakeholder engagement.
• Finance and risk management with sound judgment.
• Proven strategic leadership at board level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Commitment: ~1-2 days per month.

As Ardal Homes enters an exciting new chapter, we are establishing a new independent Board for a growing commercial development company with a strong social purpose at its core.

We are looking for leaders to help guide decisions that shape communities, deliver quality new homes, and create lasting value across South-East Wales.

Whether you are an experienced Board member or looking to secure your first Non-Executive role, we want to hear from you. We are actively building a Board with diversity of thought, fresh perspectives, and lived experiences. We particularly welcome applications from individuals whose voices are traditionally underrepresented in boardrooms, across all backgrounds, ages, and communities.
