Job summary

Bio-Techne, a world‑leading developer and manufacturer of high‑quality biological reagents, seeks a predominantly lab‑based role in Bristol to manufacture ancillary materials for the Tocris brand. You’ll work in cleanrooms/chemistry labs, recording operations and adhering to cGMP standards while meeting defined batch timelines.

The role requires flexibility for early/late shifts, keen attention to detail, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• BSc degree or equivalent qualification in chemistry
• Knowledge of practical organic chemistry
• Previous experience working under cGMP principles is desirable
• Knowledge of and adherence to quality and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform and record manufacturing operations within cleanrooms/chemistry labs
• Work as part of the ancillary materials team to deliver products per batch documentation
• Ensure deviations from process are recorded and escalated promptly
• Contribute to process reviews and document work as required
• Contribute to development of the quality management system by updating procedures
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on workload, prioritisation and progress
• Work safely and comply with regulations and assist with material movements as needed
