About the Role:

Leicestershire is looking for an experienced and dedicated Children and Family Services (CFS) Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. This is a vital role focused on protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in complex and high-risk situations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will:

  • Manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection, Child in Need, and Care
  • Proceedings Conduct robust assessments (S47, Core Assessments, Risk Assessments)
  • Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and case conferences
  • Work closely with families and partner agencies to create and review safety plans
  • Ensure that children are protected from harm and their welfare is promoted at all times
