Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed B2B technology business seeking an experienced CFO to lead the finance function and collaborate closely with the CEO, Board and investors as the business scales.

The CFO will oversee FP&A, forecasting, reporting and controls, while developing systems, processes and the team to build a high-performing finance function capable of supporting the next phase of growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA).
• Proven CFO or Finance Director experience within a PE-backed B2B technology, software, services, or similarly fast-moving business.
• Experience developing finance functions, systems and processes within a growing business.
• Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to use financial information to influence business decisions, support growth initiatives, and provide clear insight to the Board, investors and wider stakeholders.
• Experience supporting M&A activity, including acquisition evaluation, due diligence and integration.
• A hands-on and commercially focused leadership style, with the credibility to operate effectively across both strategic and operational matters

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed B2B technology business that has established a strong position in its market and is entering an important stage of development. The business is seeking an experienced CFO to lead the finance function and work closely with the CEO, Board and investors as the business continues to scale.

The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the finance function provides the structure, insight and discipline to support the next stage of growth. This will include overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting and controls, whilst continuing to develop the systems, processes and team to build a high-performing finance function that can support the business through its next phase.

Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, the CFO will play a key role in shaping and executing the business strategy, providing commercial insight and challenge across key decisions around growth, investment and resources. The role will have significant exposure to the Board and private equity investors, acting as a key financial and commercial adviser and contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business, including M&A and the identification of opportunities to improve performance and create value.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA)
