A prominent social purpose organisation in the UK is seeking a Through the Gate Support Worker to provide essential support to individuals transitioning from custody. This home-based role necessitates frequent travel across the South East to facilitate the three-way handover meetings and ensure participant engagement. Through the Gate Support Worker. The position will be a home-based role, but the expectation is that they are participant facing everyday working in prisons, hubs and probation offices across the region as required. The post holder will provide peripatetic cover across a region supporting participants through the gate. The Through the Gate Support Worker will support the PRI and Through the Gate elements working closely with custody Support Workers to facilitate and complete the three-way handover meetings either by face-to-face, video conferencing or telephone. They would act as a single point of contact for when participants have been released to either liaise and / or facilitate the TTG initial meeting and ensure engagement with support workers accordingly.

You will be homebased, however as this role requires frequent travel across the South East, you must be based within the South East.
