Job summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a recently PE-backed infrastructure business undergoing a period of transformation. The opportunity is for a Chief Financial Officer to shape and deliver the next phase alongside the CEO and PE investors, focusing on transformation, performance improvement, and value creation.

The CFO will lead the finance function, translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, and drive a disciplined financial agenda.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) required.
Experience as CFO or Finance Director in energy, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, or similarly operational environments.
Proven track record leading transformation, performance improvement, or significant organizational change.
Experience with private equity investors and providing financial leadership for value creation.
Strong commercial judgement and ability to understand drivers, challenge performance, assess investments and create value.

Responsibilities

Lead financial and commercial transformation initiatives and drive strategic priorities.
Develop planning, forecasting, performance analysis and financial reporting for Board and investors.
Oversee cash, working capital, investment decisions and financial risk.
Collaborate with CEO and leadership to simplify processes and scale the platform for growth.
Act as senior adviser to CEO and Board, delivering change through to execution.
