Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software in Milton Keynes offers 13-month engineering internships starting July 2027, with five positions. Roles include CFD/Research, Software Engineering and Testing, and core software development with automated testing.

You will contribute to Simcenter Flomaster and related tools, develop CFD models, and gain experience across development and QA in a globally integrated team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a UK university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Relevant engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Automotive, and Chemical Engineering.
• On track for a First or 2:1.
• A strong interest in programming with any prior coding experience valued.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.
• Self-learning mindset and motivation to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop CFD models and produce validation studies demonstrating capabilities.
• Learn Simcenter Flomaster and related tools (Amesim, Star CCM+).
• Develop software features and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with Development/Quality Assurance teams.
